May 2000: The Hunterdon County Democrat hires Stanchak as the newspaper's beat reporter assigned to cover the Somerset Patriots, a professional independent league baseball team managed by former New York Yankee great Sparky Lyle. By season's end, he was contributing weekly, and continued to do so for the next five seasons.

May 2000: Stanchak graduates from Delaware Valley Regional High School.

September 2001: Stanchak begins attending Raritan Valley Community College. He would graduate in the spring of 2003 with an Associates Degree in Communication Arts.

July 2001: Hunterdon Today hires Stanchak to be the monthly magazine's feature writer.

April 2002: Stanchak creates AtlanticLeagueBaseball.com, the league's exclusive source for news and information. Over the years, the site has broken many big-news stories. It is currently receiving several thousand viewers a week, including players, coaches and front office members.

December 2002: The editors of The Reporter newspaper took notice to Stanchak's work covering the Patriots and hire him as their beat reporter. Notably, he was one of the main reasons their special Patriots season preview won a journalism award, contributing content for more than half of their eight-page spread.

February 2003: The Hunterdon County Democrat offers Stanchak the opportunity to become their Trenton Thunder (Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees) beat reporter. He officially became their "Minor League Baseball Reporter," contributing three articles (one Patriots notebook, one Thunder notebook, one feature column) each week to the 30,000-circulation paper.

August 22, 2003: Less than five months after his 21st birthday, Stanchak covers his first game at Yankee Stadium. Following the contest against the Baltimore Orioles, he interviews several players, including Bernie Williams, who he interviewed just several months prior.

September 2003: Stanchak begins attending Ramapo College of New Jersey.

October 2003: WRPR 90.3 FM hires Stanchak as their newest D.J. He would go on to win three station awards over the next year, including "Best Show," "Best New D.J." and "Best Show Web Site" (ScottStanchak.com). Stanchak spent two years at the Top 40 station.

December 2003: The first episode of "The Scott Stanchak TV Reality," a late-night talk show, is taped. Stanchak would executive produce, write and host 15 episodes over the next two years.

October 18, 2004: "The Scott Stanchak TV Reality" kicks off season two by taping in front of a live studio audience for the first time. This episode featured several look-backs at season one, as well as an "American Idol"-type competition.

October 20, 2004: FOX's national afternoon program, "Good Day Live," was looking for a New York City correspondent, so Stanchak applied, appearing on-air and getting praise from the show's three hosts.

November 30, 2004: WDVR 90.3 FM gives Stanchak his own sports talk radio show. "The Cheap Seats with Scott Stanchak" becomes an instant hit, taking listeners inside all of the major and minor league sports teams in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Reaching over four million people, Stanchak's guests included Allen Iverson, Joe Torre, Miguel Tejada, Jim Thome and many more. The show aired for one year.

November 4, 2004: Stanchak anchors RCTV's, Ramapo College's television station, first-ever live program. The show was over eight hours of live Presidential election night coverage.

November 15, 2004: MTVU brings Stanchak aboard to co-host an episode of "The Freshman."

February 2005: Patriot8, a central-Jersey cable station, picks up "The Scott Stanchak TV Reality" and airs the show's entire nine-episode second season to over 80,000 households.

April 26, 2005: Stanchak hosts a live, five hour 2005 Patriots preview on WDVR. The show included player and coach interviews, listener call-ins, insight and contests.

April 28, 2005: The first-ever live sporting event broadcasts on WDVR. Stanchak handles play-by-play duties for the event, which was Opening Day for the Somerset Patriots.

May 2005: Stanchak graduates from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts.

June 2005: The Hunterdon Voice newspaper hires Stanchak to write weekly humor columns for the 25,000-circulation publication. The paper also utilized him as their sports expert, counting on him to make weekly National Football League picks, as well as an advice columnist.

October 2005: Cablevision, one of New Jersey's largest cable outfitters, picks up "The Scott Stanchak TV Reality" and airs it each week to over a half million people. In the coveted 11:30 p.m. timeslot, Stanchak's reality was pinned up against some of the late-night greats, namely Jay Leno and David Letterman. The show has since been moved to the network's primetime lineup, airing Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m.

November 2005: Stanchak heads to Jersey City, NJ and is as an extra in the film "Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna." The flick went on to become one of the biggest in Bollywood history.

December 27, 2005: Stanchak is named the newest anchor, host, producer of ISNN, a broadband television network owned by AT&T. After joining ISNN, which was later renamed to the AT&T Tech Channel, Stanchak begins anchoring their daily news programs "Top Stories," "News Now" and "Boring Tech Stuff." He also served as host of "Gadget Garage" and appeared regularly on other shows.

March 21, 2006: Time Warner Staten Island hires Stanchak to be the network's newest sports reporter for their hit program, "SportsTime." Stanchak also handles play-by-play duties for baseball games and sideline reporting duties for live basketball and football game broadcasts.

Summer 2006: After an arduous audition process, Stanchak beats out over 500 people for one of two male V.J. positions with the 247 Music Network. Network executives were counting on Stanchak to become the face of their new TV endeavor; however, after being bought out by Atlantic Records, the 247 Music Network ended up not being a part of their long-term programming initiatives.

December 24, 2006: Following his record-breaking performance in the New Orleans Staints 37-7 victory over the New York Giants, Stanchak lands the only interview with former Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush. The next day, ESPN says the only thing Bush did wrong that day was to not speak with the media. Little did they know, Stanchak did.

April 2007: Stanchak joins Time Warner New Jersey's "SportsTime" reporting staff.

May 5, 2007: MAX 106.3 FM, a Clear Channel-owned station in Franklin, NJ, brings Stanchak on board as their newest D.J. The station is affiliated with popular New York station Z-100, simulcasting their morning show during the week, and spins the hits of the 90s and now.

May 2007: Stanchak begins executive producing and hosting programs for RealMeals.TV, which partners with ABC News. The show features Stanchak as a crazy chef who cooks up extreme recipes.

May 2007: FOX News hires Stanchak away from the AT&T Tech Channel to be a writer out of their New York offices. During his time at the network, he has also appeared on-air, doing several package voiceovers.

August 2007: Stanchak accepts a position as a news anchor with WGHT 1500 AM in Pompton Lakes, NJ. He gives hourly news updates, which includes news, stocks, weather and traffic information.

September 8, 2007: Stanchak joins the on-air staff of WNNJ 103.7 FM, Clear Channel's tri-state's classic rock station. This opportunity gives him close to 20 hours a week on-air between MAX and NNJ.

September 23, 2007: Stanchak hosts "Sussex County Idol" at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. It also airs live on Service Electric channel 10.

January 25, 2008: Stanchak makes his on-camera, Fox News debut, producing and reporting on the New York Giants ahead of their Super Bowl match-up against the undefeated Ned England Patriots.

March 12, 2008: Stanchak interviews Cleveland Caveliers star LeBron James after he scored 42 points against the New Jersey Nets.

March 29, 2008: Stanchak interviews the new Phoenix Suns lineup, including NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal, former MVP Steve Nash and All-Star Amare Stoudemire.

Miscellaneous: Stanchak's work has appeared in dozens of different newspapers and magazines over the years, including Baseball America, where he has dished out information on the Yankees farm system.

Interviews: Stanchak has been able to sit down with many high-profile people over the years, including LeBron James, Rickey Henderson, Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson, Bob Gibson, Derek Jeter, Sidney Crosby, Martin Brodeur, Joe Gibbs, Mick Foley, Jason Kidd, Tiki Barber, Vince Carter, Donald Trump and hundreds of others.
