December 4, 2011: Scott traveled to New Meadowlands Stadium to cover the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers game. The Packers improved to 12-0 following the 38-35 victory, which came on a game-ending field goal by kicker Mason Crosby. Scott spoke with Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Jermichael Finley and Mike McCarthy afterwards. This is the second Green Bay game Scott has covered in the last two years.

August 26, 2011: For the third straight year, Scott covered the PGA Tour’s Barclay’s tournament. This year, Scott spoke with Sergio Garcia and Vijay Singh about the rain-shortened weekend for a story on CheapSeatsRadio.net.

July 21, 2011: In Scott’s two-plus years at the NBA, he’s covered NBA games, the NBA Lottery, NBA Draft, NBA Playoffs and NBA All-Star; WNBA games, WNBA Draft and WNBA Finals; NBA D-League Showcase, NBA D-League All-Star and NBA D-League Finals. That left the NBA Finals and WNBA All-Star. Scott crossed the latter off that short list this weekend after traveling to San Antonio, Texas for the 2011 WNBA All-Star game. There, Scott covered the game and festivities, including the league’s Top 15 players of all time announcement. In lieu of that, Scott caught up with 10 of those players for a roundtable discussion.

June 23, 2011: Scott covers his second consecutive NBA Draft. This year’s event was being held at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. He spoke with each of the Top 10 selections and others, including Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams, Jimmer Fredette and Kemba Walker.

April 22, 2011: The NBA playoffs came to Madison Square Garden for the first time in seven years and Scott was there gathering interviews for his new NBA.com “Fast Break” column. The New York Knicks took on the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of their first-round matchup.

February 20, 2011: It was a busy weekend as Scott covered the NBA All-Star festivities in Los Angeles, CA. He was there reporting on practice, the NBA D-League All-Star Game, Saturday Night’s competitions and the NBA All-Star Game.

January 27, 2011: Scott covered the Knicks vs. Heat game at Madison Square Garden on Thursday. This was LeBron James’ second trip to The Garden as a member of the Heat. Scott spoke with James prior to and after the contest. He also spoke with Dwyane Wade and coach Erik Spolestra.

December 15, 2010: Scott covered the Knicks vs. Celtics game at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. Following the 118-116 win by Boston, he caught up with Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Glen Davis and Doc Rivers.

December 12, 2010: Scott covered the Nets vs. Lakers game at the Prudential Center on Sunday. Following the 97-92 win by the Lakers, he caught up with Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher, Ron Artest and Pau Gasol. Mix those names with Phil Jackson and Lamar Odom, both of whom Scott has spoken with in the past, and that’s the Lakers’ championship starting lineup from the 2009-10 season.

October 31, 2010: Scott covered the Halloween meeting between the New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers. Afterwards, he spoke with the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Clay Matthews, AJ Hawk, Mason Crosby and Howard Green.

October 11, 2010: Scott has already covered several NFL games this season, his fifth reporting on the league, but Monday night’s meeting between the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings was definitely an interesting one. The game featured the return of Brett Farve to New York, where he played in 2008, and was also Randy Moss’ first game back with Minnesota. Afterwards, Scott spoke with Favre, Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, Visanthe Shiancoe, Brad Childress, Antonio Cromartie and Dwight Lowery.

August 27, 2010: For the second year in a row, Scott covered the PGA TOUR’s The Barclays, which was held at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J. Scott was able to talk with Tiger Woods, Padraig Harrington, Stewart Cink and more for stories that appeared on his website, CheapSeatsRadio.net. Later that night, Scott covered his first game at The Meadowlands Stadium, new home to the Giants and Jets, who were taking on the Washington Redskins. Afterwards, he was able to gather interviews with with Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan and former Super Bowl quarterback Rex Grossman, as well as the Jets’ Mark Sanchez, Nick Mangold, Shonn Green, Jason Taylor, LaDainian Tomlinson and many more.

August 15, 2010: For the week of Aug. 10-15, Scott covered several USAB events, including practice at John Jay College, a scrimmage at Radio City Music Hall and the USAB/France game at Madison Square Garden. Scott’s coverage appeared on USABasketball.com and featured interviews with 10 members of the U.S. Men’s Team, including Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Lamar Odom, Chauncey Billups and more.

July 16, 2010: Scott made a return trip to Yankee Stadium, covering the first game for the Yankees after the passing of owner George Steinbrenner and public address announcer Bob Sheppard. Scott spoke with Mariano Rivera, Curtis Granderson, Nick Swisher, Derek Jeter, C.C. Sabathia, Jorge Posada and David Robertson.

June 24, 2010: Scott covered the 2010 NBA Draft and was able to interview each of the Top 5 picks, including John Wall, Evan Turner, Derrick Favors, Wesley Johnson and DeMarcus Cousins. He also chatted with Gordon Hayward and Luke Babbitt.

April 8, 2010: While covering the WNBA Draft for WNBA.com, Scott interviews UConn head coach Geno Auriemma, who less than two days before won his seventh national championship.

December 6, 2009: Scott has now officially covered all of the divisional match-ups for the New York Giants. Today, he covered the Giants’ game against the Dallas Cowboys, who remain in first place despite the 31-24 loss. Afterwards, Scott spoke with Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips, quarterback Tony Romo and several others.

November 11, 2009: The San Diego Chargers handed the New York Giants their fourth loss in a row. Following the game, Scott interviewed LaDainian Tomlinson, Philip Rivers, Shawn Merriman, Vincent Jackson, Luis Castillo and Norv Turner — essentially all of the Chargers’ biggest stars.

October 18, 2009: Scott interviewed NFL superstar Terrell Owens following his Bills win over the New York Jets at the Meadowlands.

September 20, 2009: Following the Jets 16-9 win over the New York Jets, Scott interviewed future Hall of Famers Tom Brady and Randy Moss of the New England Patriots.

September 3, 2009: Scott interviewed Michael Vick following his second preseason game with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was the first to question Vick about his meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell earlier in the day. The result of that meeting led to Goodell allowing Vick to return officially in Week 3 of the regular season.

August 25, 2009: Scott has added another sport to his resume, as he covered the PGA Barclays Tournament at Liberty National golf course in Jersey City, N.J. The event featured the likes of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh and others.

August 4, 2009: Mike Silva’s New York Baseball Digest will have Scott on as a guest. He’ll be talking about the independent Atlantic League. Take a listen.

May 11, 2009: After two years, Scott has said goodbye to Fox News, where he had been writing and producing, as well as contributing as a Web reporter/producer. He has accepted a position with the NBA, where he will be overseeing various team websites within the NBA, WNBA and NBDL. Scott will also be writing feature stories for WNBA.com.

March 6, 2009: Sporting News Radio’s “Todd Wright Tonight” has asked Scott to be a guest on tonight’s show. He’ll discuss a number of topics, including his recent Rickey Henderson article, the Johan Santana injury and more. Listen

March 1, 2009: Scott wrote his first article for Yahoo! Sports. The piece was a one-on-one interview with one of the newest members of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Rickey Henderson. This was one of Henderson’s first interviews since being named to the Hall, and he talks with Scott about his speech, steroids and if he’d every play again.
